Ah! Life! Life is going well for the most part right now. I am not going to lie though, teaching is hard and it is kicking my butt, but I love it! We are getting ready to go into our fifth week of school. The students that I have are great! I have already learned a lot this year, not only about myself and the students, but a few spiritual lessons as well.

It has been a little bit of an adjustment moving from college into my career. I am slowly getting used to being in bed by 9:30 and not hanging out all night long, at least until the weekends. I am definitly missing that feeling of being around friends all of the time and always having someone to hang out with, but I am doing OK with it.

The single life hasn't been that bad either. It is kind of a nice feeling knowing that the money that I make is mine and no one elses. I like living on my own and being fully independent. The more independent I get, the more I don't want to get in a relationship and give up that independence. At the same time though, it would be nice to make dinner for two some time. I don't miss the time it takes to put into a relationship, but I miss having that closeness and intimacy with a male.

I love my church! I am going to a Nazerene church. I am involved in a children's ministry and I take part in the college and career class. My pastor is awesome. He delivers some of the deepest messages that I have ever heard but in a way that everyone can understand them and gain something from them. He is truly a man that loves God and wants the will of God done in his life and his family's.

Happy Memorial Day! My family is having a cookout tonight which should be fun. We are also babysitting Erik which is always a lot of fun. I love that kid!
